Yesterday, 22 Oct. 2025, the State Herbarium of South Australia published the first article in Vol. 38 of its journal Swainsona.

G. Kantvilas, A further addition to the genus Arthothelium (Arthoniales) from Tasmania (3.2mb PDF).

The author from the Tasmanian Herbarium (HO) describes the new lichen species Arthothelium palustre (Arthoniales) and discusses the pigments present in different species of the genus. A revised key to all species in Tasmania is also presented, updating his previously published synopsis of the genus (Lichenologist 53: 415-431).
